Yesterday, Grammy-winning artist Casting Crowns was the featured guest performer during the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. The platinum-selling band played “Voice of Truth” and “Who Am I” for President Obama, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and the more than 3,000 attendees, including dignitaries from more than 180 nations. For the first time in its 57-year history, the prayer breakfast was broadcast live over the internet.
In other Casting Crowns news, the band announced that drummer Andy Williams is leaving to work full time with his wife Kelly in a band and ministry called Soul Sister Sally.
