'Mary, Did You Know?' Reaches Platinum Status
The modern Christmas classic "Mary, Did You Know?," penned by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene over 25 years ago, has attained platinum status. A cappella group Pentatonix took the beloved song to the top of the charts this time, reaching over 1 million units sold in the US. The three-time Grammy Award winners recorded "Mary, Did You Know?" on a double-platinum album, entitled That's Christmas To Me.

Jordan Smith Performs "Mary, Did You Know" in The Voice Finale
Even the Grinch might shed a tear when listening to Jordan Smith's take on a Christmas classic.
The Voice singer, 22, belted out "Mary, Did You Know?" with raw emotion during Monday night's episode of the singing competition.
True to form, Smith's performance built to a goosebumps-worthy crescendo that had the audience applauding with gusto.
